Super League Expert Tips 2026

Alphr's Super League expert tips are generated by an AI rugby league model, not a pundit. Every round, the model produces a head-to-head pick for each fixture from team ELO ratings, rolling form, player-based lineup strength, venue effects and rest. Picks are published before kick-off and tracked publicly, win or lose.

Held-out accuracy: on the blind 2024–2025 test seasons the head-to-head model scored 68.9% accuracy with a 0.786 ROC-AUC — never having seen those matches during training.

How the expert tips are generated

Each Super League fixture is scored by three models: a head-to-head win classifier, a margin projection and a total-points projection. The head-to-head model outputs a win probability for the home side; the tip is simply the team the model rates more likely to win. There is no human override — the same pipeline runs for every fixture, every round.

What goes into each pick

Features include team ELO ratings (margin-adjusted and reset between seasons), rolling form over the last 5 and 10 games, head-to-head history, venue and home-ground effects, rest days between fixtures, and player-based lineup ELO that captures the strength of the named squad. All features use only past data, so a tip can never “see” the result it is predicting.

Are the tips free?

Yes. Every Super League tip on Alphr is free and public. There is no paywall, no tipping subscription and no upsell — the model's record is shown openly so you can judge it on results, not marketing.

How do these differ from Best Bets and Margin Tips?

Expert Tips cover the head-to-head pick for every fixture in the round. Super League Best Bets narrows that down to the highest-confidence selections, and Super League Margin Tips predict the winning margin band rather than just the winner.
