**New England Patriots vs Cleveland Browns Prediction and Tips - NFL Week 8, 2025**

_By Ben Dunlop · Published: 27 Oct 2025, 04:00 am_

New England Patriots 32–13 Cleveland Browns in NFL Week 8 at Gillette Stadium. Here's how the result stacked up against the model's call, with the win-probability story and where the value landed.

New England led 9-7 at the break, the kind of scoreline that tells you nothing about what's coming. Harold Fannin Jr. had put Cleveland up early and the Browns were hanging in there through two quarters. Then the third quarter happened.

Three touchdowns in a little over eight minutes flipped it from a contest into a rout. Hunter Henry got it going at the 9:15 mark, Stefon Diggs added another at 6:45, and Kayshon Boutte capped it off with just under a minute left in the quarter. NE 30, CLE 7 by the time the third quarter shut its doors. David Njoku got one back for Cleveland early in the fourth, but by then it was academic. Final score: Patriots 32, Browns 13, a 19-point gap that half-time gave no hint of.

The stat sheet explains why New England could afford to take their time. They finished with 459 total yards to Cleveland's 224, doubling them up almost exactly. Thirty-two first downs against eighteen. An expected points differential of plus 0.3 against Cleveland's minus 18.5, which is about as one-sided as offensive efficiency numbers get in a game that was genuinely tight at the break.

Strange thing is, Cleveland won the pressure battle outright. Six sacks to New England's one. Didn't matter. Drake Maye still went 18 of 24 for 282 yards and three touchdowns, taking what the pocket gave him even while it was collapsing around him. Dillon Gabriel threw more, 21 of 35, but for only 156 yards, two touchdowns and two picks. Same number of team turnovers each side, two apiece, but New England's damage was done through the air and doubled up on the ground: 177 rushing yards, 39 per cent of their total output, with TreVeyon Henderson
