New York Jets 32–34 Pittsburgh Steelers in NFL Week 1 at MetLife Stadium. Here's how the result stacked up against the model's call, with the win-probability story and where the value landed.

New York Jets had the lead for the better part of three quarters and still walked off the losers. Pittsburgh Steelers won it 34-32 at MetLife Stadium, and the gap between the two teams was never bigger than a converted score in either direction. That's the whole game in one sentence.

Ben Skowronek got Pittsburgh going with 3:44 left in the first, but Garrett Wilson answered with 31 seconds left in the quarter to put the Jets up 9-7. Braelon Allen made it 15-10 early in the second, Jonnu Smith clawed one back for the Steelers with 37 seconds left before halftime, and New York went to the sheds up 19-17.
