Western Bulldogs did plenty right at Marvel Stadium, just not for long enough. They beat Carlton in the ruck, 27 hit-outs to 22, and were sharper inside their own forward line, taking 8 marks inside 50 to Carlton's 5. For three quarters that was the difference.
