Western Bulldogs 134–53 GWS GIANTS in AFL Round 1 at Marvel Stadium. Here's how the result stacked up against the model's call, with the win-probability story and where the value landed.

Western Bulldogs led from the opening minutes and never stopped stretching it, turning a handy quarter-time buffer into an 81-point demolition by the close. The margin went 16, then 38, then 58, then 81. That's not a team hanging on. That's a team putting the foot down every single quarter and not lifting it once.

The final scoreboard read 134-53, but the story was in the shape of it. Quarter time had the Dogs up 31-15. By half-time it was 67-29. Three-quarter time, 102-44. GWS Giants never found a way to slow the bleeding, and by the last change the margin was already bigger than most teams manage across a whole game.
